Apply for registration — Rwandan applicants
Registration requires proof of qualification, proof of supervised professional experience, and the application fee. Applications are considered by the Board of Registration.
Application Process
Your application in three steps

Assemble your documents
An application letter, the application forms, a detailed CV, your notified degree, a logbook of your professional training records, CPD or professional training certificates (at least two from previous years and two current), a copy of your ID or passport, and a recommendation letter from a trainer who is a professional member of the Institute with at least three years of practice. - 02
Pre-consultation with the secretariat
The head secretariat checks your file for completeness before any payment is made. Incomplete files are returned rather than assessed. - 03
Pay the fee
The application fee for chartered and corporate membership is RWF 300,000, non-refundable, payable after the secretariat confirms your documents are complete. Associate and graduate applications are free, with an annual fee of RWF 100,000 from six months after professional training begins. The annual practising licence is RWF 250,000 to RWF 350,000 depending on class.
