Every fee RIA charges, what it is for and who it applies to. This is the only page on the site that states an amount; every other page links here.

How to pay
Bank deposit or transferAccess Bank (Rwanda) Ltd, account name Rwanda Institute of Architects. RWF account 1002100100666101, USD account 1002100200666102. Any branch.
ChequeCheques are written to Rwanda Institute of Architects and delivered to the RIA head office, or call +250 785 251 983 to arrange collection.
Mobile money and cardMoMo Pay and card payment through the member portal are being upgraded. Use bank deposit or cheque until they are restored.
Always keep the proof of payment
Applications and renewals are only processed once the bank slip or receipt is attached to your file. Keep a copy: the same proof is requested at licence renewal and when a certificate of good standing is issued.
FAQ
When do I pay the application fee?
After pre-consultation, once the head secretariat confirms your documents are complete. Fees paid before that confirmation cannot be matched to a file.
I paid but my licence still shows as lapsed.
Payment and reconciliation are not instantaneous. Send your proof of payment to the secretariat and the register is updated once the deposit is matched.
Is the application fee refundable if I am refused?
No. Application fees are stated as non-refundable; they cover the assessment of your file, not the outcome.
I checked a firm and it is licensed. Is that enough?
Check the individual too. The firm's registration and the licence of the person signing your drawings are separate things.
