Apply for registration with the Rwanda Institute of Architects. Choose your class, submit your file for pre-consultation, and pay once the secretariat confirms your documents are complete.

Which route applies to you?

Your class determines the documents you must supply and the fees payable. If you are unsure, the secretariat will confirm during pre-consultation.

Chartered member — application fee RWF 300,000 (non-refundable), annual fee RWF 350,000.

Before you begin

Pre-consultation comes first

The secretariat reviews your documents before you pay. Most delays are missing documents, not slow decisions.

Applications are considered in sittings

Files are assessed by the Board of Registration at its sittings. An incomplete application usually waits for the next sitting.
