Continuing professional development

Registered members must complete continuing professional development each cycle and show it at renewal. This page states the requirement, what counts, and how it is recorded.

The requirement

RIA requires evidence of continuing professional development whenever you apply for membership or renew your practising licence: certificates for CPD, professional trainings or seminars covering at least two activities from previous years and two from the current year. Regional and foreign applicants show professional training certificates for at least three previous years and one current year, together with their current annual practice licence.
